We are currently seeking expressions of interest for our opportunities in 2022.

This position will be based in our head office in Townsville, providing support to both our payable and receivable functions. As our business continues to grow, we now require a Front Office Administrator to join our team. Based out of the Townsville office, this position requires someone willing to take on a challenge in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently, under instruction or in a team; will have proven problem-solving skills and be able to demonstrate attention to detail across various tasks.

The role is all encompassing and requires the candidate to be able to learn on the go and adapt to the processes in place as well as implementing new or more efficient procedures in conjunction with the Account Managers. 

Keys tasks include:

  • General reception (phone calls, mail, filing, stationary, data entry etc);
  • Assisting with project management related tasks including document production and reconciliations; and
  • Working with payables and receivables to achieve key deadlines.

Previous experience working for a transport company will be highly regarded.

You will also have the following qualifications and/or experience:

  • Extensive use of the full Microsoft Office Suite;
  • MYOB;
  • Qualification in Business Administration or Accounting, or intention to complete;

The company reserves the right to require you to undergo both a pre-employment medical and if successful on-going medical examinations by a company appointed doctor. The purpose of this medical is to protect public safety and as such the NRTC “Medical Examinations of Commercial Vehicle Drivers” standard is used.

To aid in this process you are required to complete the “self report”, attached to this employment form, which will be on-forwarded to the Company doctor to aid in the medical examination process.
